Der Ursprung der Blüte

Die Fotografin Vanessa Leißring und die Illustratorin Casiegraphics haben sich mit dem Thema Blumenstillleben auseinandergesetzt.
In diesem doch sehr klassischen Thema und althergebrachten Motiv in der Kunst entdeckten sie verborgene florale Entsprechungen zu weiblichen Geschlechtsteilen.

Diese Konnotationen haben die beiden ins klassische Stillleben eingeflochten. Die Serie ist in weiblich zugeschriebenen Farben gehalten, erinnern an glatte Werbefotografien ohne Makel.
Die facettenhaft sexuelle, geheimnisumwobene Struktur der Blüten spiegelt sich in ihrer konkreten Bildgebung, den stilisierten Vulvaillustrationen auf den Vasen wieder.

Mit dem Triptychon haben beide eine disziplinübergreifende Kollaboration erschaffen. Casiegraphics steht für schwarzweiß Illustrationen mit wiederkehrenden Mustern und Formen, die Inspiration in der Natur finden.
Vanessas fotografisches Werk ist minimal und polychrom. Die Wurzeln ihres aufgeräumten Stils liegen in der Popkultur.

The photographer Vanessa Leißring and the illustrator Casiegraphics have explored the theme of floral still life. In this very classical theme and traditional motif in art, they discovered hidden floral correspondences to female genitalia.

The two have woven these connotations into the classic still life. The series is in colors attributed to women, reminiscent of smooth advertising photographs without flaws.
The multifaceted sexual, mysterious structure of the flowers is reflected in their concrete imagery, the stylized Vulva illustrations on the Vases.
